Well as y'all know, Mark has been spending more time in Tennessee this year while working on the turn around of the aviation division and it looks like we're moving back to the states. We are still working out the details but I'm headed over there on Wednesday to look around. He's really excited about this next chapter and challenge so am I. We made the move to Germany 11 months ago with the intent of spending more time together but things change. If nothing else, I'm adaptable and just really want to be with my hubby no matter where that is! There isn't a time line yet until they work out all the details and considering it took a year to work out the details of the Germany move, I'm not packing yet....lol! There are Bon Jovi song lyrics (I know you're shocked that I'm referencing it) but that has become my mantra for the last few years.
The more things change the more they stay the same
The more things change the more they stay the same
The more things change the more they stay the same
You know the more things change the more they stay the same
The same sunrise, it's just another day
If you hang in long enough they say you're comin' back
Just take a look, we're living proof and baby that's a fact
You know the more things change the more they stay the same
Never and forever just keep comin' back again
Don't hold out for tomorrow or hold onto yesterday
The more things change the more they stay the same
So another door is opening and we're walking thru it together. I don't know what our long range plans are which is very hard for the control freak in me but hey, I've lived thru worse. Clarice and I are just taking things day by day and enjoying our European adventure for as long as we can. She's looking forward to another stamp in her kitty passport this week going back home for a couple of weeks. I'm off now to decide what my traveling stitching project will be and start packing my carryon. Have a great week everyone!

Donna, you are so upbeat and positive. Good job on fighting that depression and anxiety over it. Have fun on this short trip now. I hope it is successful. =)
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you and your hubby that you will be coming back 'home' to the states.
I think you really got a good taste of Europe though in the short time you have been there. Not many of us get that. You are blessed although you didn't see much of your husband.
Praying for a good transition for this move.
Karen
I am in Tennessee right now! We came here for a ball game with friends but it got rained out.
ReplyDeleteI hope all things come together smoothly for you and hubby. Sending positive thoughts your way.

You're probably in flight now... but hope you have a great time without lots of doctor visits this time! Your great, accepting attitude is best for all, and as you say, as long as you're together!
ReplyDeleteChange definitely keeps things interesting. Have a great visit.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Laura
